Sorry for the (ahem) pregnant pause

So, yes, it's been awhile. The contributing factors are mainly hyped-up home repair efforts, blogger changing their passwords and accessibility creating a big headache for me to get back here (although they seem to have made improvements), and a very impressive lack of energy.

On April 29th, we went for our BIG ultrasound. Now, most of you know that we were going to let it all remain a mystery about the baby's gender. Philip and I were so completely enthralled with seeing our future child, that we forgot to remind the ultrasound technician that we did not want to know so she told us. And there you have it! Allowing for the fact that ultrasounds have been wrong before, we are probably having a little girl we will name Raina. So far, everything looked normal on this ultrasound (whew!)

Here our little sugarlump is tucked in a ball. Her head is to the left and facing down and she is resting her head between her forearms.

The controversial moment! This picture is looking up at the baby's bottom (as if she were sitting in an invisible chair). The pattably cute baby bottom is to the right and the thigh stretch out to the left.

Here she is sleeping on her tummy in a ball with her head resting on mommy's placenta. Her head is to the left and she is facing you. Follow the brighter string of dots on top and that is her spine extending toward her bottom.

Well, I guess that is the sneak preview. We have a great deal more catching up to do.

I tried in VAIN to edit this blog so the words don't run on the side of the picture, but the new format will NOT cooperate. My apologies.
